My name's Hunter Ellett, at the moment of writing I'm 20 years old. I have Asperger's Syndrome and I've been "going with the flow" since I graduated high school. I've used computers since I was around 4 years old thanks to my mom, so I have a soft spot for technology. Don't be fooled though, I am certified southern. Raised in the same household and rural town all of my life, I've grown to make a balance with my culture and hobbies.
I'll go ahead and mention that I had a pretty rough childhood. From losing my dad to cancer at the age of 11 to my grandfather passing in a housefire when I was 16, I was mentally devastated in my teen years. This resulted in a lot of things I truly regret and stay embarrassed about, but as a young adult I've persevered and continue to make my life better one day at a time. I can thank my family and the Lord above for helping me get this far.
I used to want to make games for a living, but by the time I was a senior I started to realize the importance of keeping software free and moved towards working in software development in general. However if I work a non-IT job then so be it. While my destiny remains cloudy, be assured that I am probably doing something that I enjoy.
